Problem:  CNJ Travels has seen a 20% increase in travel bookings to Hawaii – The Big Island.  Currently, our travel agents have limited trainings and resources on sights and activities for our customers to visit.

Solution:  An eLearning module was developed to provide an overview of the sights and activities to discuss with their customers.  These resources will assist the travel agents when developing a plan for their customers.

Tools: Articulate Rise 360, Articulate Storyline 360, Snagit, Canva

Highlights: Accordion and tab interactions, flip cards, process cards, labeled graphics, images, Storyline block, knowledge checks with customized responses.

About the Project:

The Hawaii - Traveling to The Big Island eLearning course was created to showcase a real-world problem-solving learning experience.  First, I started with a needs analysis, asking questions to understand the desired outcome, target audience, and knowledge and skill gaps.  The travel agents need to be familiar with the areas, sights and activities on The Big Island.  Then, a business goal was developed with measurable learning objectives.  Now I was able to determine the knowledge gaps that required training and designed a plan to assist the travel agents with resources.  A design document was created with an overview for the course.  I researched and designed the storyboard which incorporated feedback.  Once approved, I developed the course in Articulate Rise 360.   An interactive Articulate Storyline block was added for additional content review. To evaluate the learner's success, customized knowledge checks were assessed with feedback.  Managers will evaluate an overall plan by tracking bookings with customer service surveys.

Business Goal:   CNJ Travels will increase customer service relations by providing resources on sights and activities for their travel agents to assist customers planning a trip to Hawaii - The Big Island.
